(Ethical Engagement Disclaimer)
At Monoface, we take responsibility for the things we create and for how they shape the web. We understand that every interface influences how people behave, decide, and trust. Because of this, we are careful about the products we help bring to life. Monoface works only with products and teams that operate transparently and in good faith. To keep our work aligned with these values, we DO NOT take on projects that involve:

(1)

Gambling, casino, betting, or lottery services, including but not limited to online casinos, wagering applications, prediction markets, or any mechanism designed to encourage speculative or addictive behavioral patterns.

(2)

High-risk financial schemes, such as multi-level marketing programs, unregulated trading platforms, deceptive investment vehicles, or products that obscure material risk to users.

(3)

Adult content, explicit entertainment, or sexually exploitative services, including any platform that monetizes or facilitates explicit material outside of recognized, regulated frameworks.

(4)

Apps or services that intentionally manipulate user behavior, including dark-pattern-driven funnels, deceptive UX flows, or products engineered to mislead participants about outcomes, value, or safety.

(5)

Organizations involved in the distribution of harmful, illicit, or counterfeit products, or those violating international digital, financial, or privacy regulations.

(6)

Any entity engaged in discriminatory, abusive, or unethical practices, whether operational, environmental, financial, or social.

This is not a statement of judgment. As a small design team, we choose to focus on products that contribute to a clear, responsible, and trustworthy digital environment. When a project does not fit these criteria, we simply step aside. These guidelines help us maintain a consistent and honest approach to our work.
